On March 24, Commerce Minister Wang Wentao met with Synopsys President and CEO Sassine Ghazi, and discussed with him Synopsys’ development in China and China-US relations.

Wang Wentao said that as Premier Li Qiang said at the opening ceremony of the China Development Forum 2024, a more open China will create more opportunities for win-win cooperation in the world. China is speeding up the development of new quality productive forces, and enjoys enormous potential in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, consumer electronics and other industries. He encouraged Synopsys to embrace China’s digital development, continue to expand business in China, and achieve win-win cooperation.

Sassine Ghazi expressed readiness to increase investment in innovation and deepen cooperation with China to better meet the needs of Chinese consumers.
