On the afternoon of June 3 local time, Commerce Minister Wang Wentao met with European Commission for Trade and Economic Security Maroš Šefčovič on the side of a WTO informal ministerial meeting in Paris, France. The two sides engaged in focused, candid and in-depth discussions on urgent and important issues in China-EU economic and trade cooperation. They also urged working teams to intensify efforts in making trade and economic preparations for this year's important agenda between China and Europe.
